The Addams Family 2

I joined Cinesite Animation in 2020 to work on The Addams Family 2, which was my first show in feature animation.
My kids were ecstatic that they would be able to watch a film that I worked on :)

Beside multiple props and smaller vehicles for various set pieces, I primarily worked on two environments and the tanker truck.
The best thing was to collaborate directly with Patricia Atchison who was the Production Designer on the show.

First up was the campground - I was responsible for modeling and sculpting the arch, the mountain and the rocks next to it.
The Tanker Truck was a straight forward hard surface task and a refreshing change of pace in-between the environments.
My favorite asset was Cyrus's environment. In particular the rock-tower and rock-bridge underneath his house. I sculpted the environment following a design from Patricia. Later on Tomoka Matsumura did another detail pass, after I had already left the show.

I also worked on the Cyrus house, joining Aaron Steadman, who was overseeing the asset. I modeled the exterior for the Guest House and the Lab, as well as the gate. We followed artworks by Chris Souza, who was the shows Art Director.

Kudos to the whole team! Proud of what we achieved during a tough time and on a, relatively seen, small budget.
