Iron Man 3

I couldn't believe it when I got hired to work on Iron Man 3, right when the MCU went into overdrive with the first Avengers movie. I joined the team at Trixter in Munich and, if memory hasn't failed me, was one of 3 Modelers who were working on the Mark 42 suit.

I worked on the armor exterior and was responsible for the Head, Neck, Mask, Upper Body Front, Pelvis and the RT (the heart piece). The RT is actually highly detailed, but the result is unfortunately just a glowing circle. XD
I also did a split up version of the glove and parts of the underlying tech for the glove assembling shot.
Lastly, I modeled some of the initial state armor pieces that rest on the workbench, before they zip over to Tony Stark.

The Mark 42 suit was a big team effort and a great back and forth with other modelers, the animators and concept artists.
Cheers to the team at Trixter!
